In the past two years alone, California has seen the State's worst and most destructive wildfires in history. From 2017 to 2018, wildfires ravaged through over 1 million acres, destroyed over 21,000 structures, and claimed the lives of 96 people. While some of these fires were caused by humans, many were also started from lightning strikes and power lines.
